Learn from small business owner and gardening expert, Kathleen of Plum Creek Seeds in this informative class with a planning workshop to prepare for your Fall garden.
Eating year-round from the garden involves a continuous process of planning ahead. If you are one of those gardeners who reads seed catalogs and carefully maps out the spring garden in January but has trouble remembering, as you bite into that first hard-earned ripe tomato, what and when to plant to ensure you can continue to enjoy fresh garden produce after the frosts, this class is for you.
We will discuss crops, varieties, timing of plantings, winter protection, and storage techniques for frost-tolerant cool-weather crops that can be harvested from October into early December and again in the early spring.
