Testing is the opportunity for students to demonstrate their acquired skills at their current rank and to show off those skills to the family, fellow students and Instructors to demonstrate they are ready for advancement in their martial arts rank.
Testing weekend kicks off on Friday:

Instructor/JLT Test Wrap Up @ 7:00pm
HDGD Black Belt Meeting @ 7:10pm
Haidong Gumdo Testing @ 7:30pm
HDGD Black Belt Test Wrap Up @ 8:30pm
Saturday continues the festivities:

Advanced 1 Testing @ 9:00am*
(Blue to Purple & Purple to Brown Belt)
Advanced 2 Testing @ 10:30am*
(Brown to Red & Red to Provisional Belt)
Instructor/SLT Test Wrap Up @ Noon

Spectators: We love to have family and friends in attendance on Testing days to support your special testing candidate and all the other testing participants. There is no cost for being a spectator, but we do offer VIP seating (Paid preferred seating with all proceeds going to the Way fo the Warrior Scholarship funds to help underprivileged and at-risk youth get into martial arts classes with us here at The Gym).
Black Belt testing is closed during the main portion of the skills testing to allow for testing candidates to focus on giving their best performance. The board breaking portion of testing will be open to spectators (family & friends).
