Houseplant Repotting Workshop with Sheryl

Have you ever purchased a houseplant and after a bit of time, it’s just not doing well? Perhaps it’s ready for a repot. 

This workshop will give you a demonstration and step by step instructions on how to repot your houseplant. Sheryl will teach you everything you need to know about the best soils and amendments for various types of houseplants from philodendrons to succulents. You’ll then get to mix your own soil for your specific plant. Sheryl will discuss signs of stress, pests, and disease with emphasis on root health. You will learn about trimming roots and stems, watering, fertilizing, and other steps involved to help your plant thrive. Need to split your plant or give it a trim? Now you have multiple plants! Sheryl can walk you through propagating your plant too. Your repotting will include preventative pest control, leaf shine, and appropriate fertilizer. We will also provide the appropriate sized grow pot (perfect for drainage) or you can bring in or purchase a decorative pot in our store. 

Ticket prices include all materials and instructions for repotting your houseplant. Plants in container larger than 10” in diameter may require extra materials at additional cost. Trellises and moss poles can be purchased in store and Sheryl will guide you through installing them. Bringing in multiple plants? No problem! Additional plants can be added to your ticket in Eventbrite.
