Paving the Way: Building Cleaner, Safer, and Stronger Neighborhoods
More than half of residents who took the community insights survey report seeing potholes and litter in their neighborhoods, and nearly half feel access to safe and friendly places could be stronger. This Community Conversation will bring residents, local leaders, and public works partners together to talk openly about how we can maintain cleaner, safer, and more connected neighborhoods.
Together, we’ll explore what’s working, what’s not, and how government responsiveness and community action can go hand-in-hand to improve daily life for everyone.
Clean, well-maintained neighborhoods create a stronger sense of pride, belonging, and safety. When potholes, litter, or slow repairs go unaddressed, it affects not just how our streets look but how people feel about their community. By listening to residents and working together, we can identify real solutions to improve maintenance, strengthen civic responsiveness, and ensure every neighborhood feels cared for and connected.
Open to all residents, neighborhood association leaders, business owners, public works representatives, and community partners interested in keeping our neighborhoods clean, safe, and thriving.
Dinner, networking, and resource fair: 5:00 PM - 5:30 PM
Conversation: 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM
