2025 Ultimate Tailgate Experience

September 27, 2025, we will start a new tradition with the Southern Heritage Classic. We welcome back the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and look forward to introducing Alcorn State University to the Southern Heritage Classic. AlphaMemphis is ready to give you the Ultimate Tailgate Experience - Fiesta Style!!

For over 30 years, the Southern Heritage Classic (SHC) has been the destination spot for one of the top HBCU Classics in America and AlphaMemphis has had the ultimate tailgate spot at the SHC. Don’t miss the Ultimate Party Experience from the Memphis Phirst Phamily. This year will be the first year for the battle between these great SWAC institutions.

Our location will be right in front of the Coliseum. You don't want to miss this year because we will have the Ultimate Experience for you, filled with plenty of surprises and gift giveaways.

Wristbands will be released online on July 13th. Regular wristbands will be sold for only $30 during our Early Bird Period throughout the month of July. They will go up to $40 on August 3rd through the day before the tailgate. We will have a VIP section again this year, which will include its own seating area and bar. Tickets for this tent are $45 during the Early Bird Period throughout the month of July and will move up to $55 on August 3rd until the day before the tailgate. There will be only a limited number of VIP tickets sold, so you don't want to wait.

Get your tickets early because they will be $50 the day of the Tailgate. No VIP tickets will be sold the day of the Tailgate. The drinks will include all you can drink adult beverages, beer and premium liquors served at our 2 full service bars. Our food menu will feature our famous fish and chicken, with a few surprises this year.

We have attendees from the Memphis area, as well as the Arkansas and Mississippi areas. Our tailgate is open to the public (Greek and non-Greek) and you will be treated to the best tailgate experience Memphis has to offer.

We want to thank all our past patrons, including our business sponsors, in-kind donors, and all the members of the Phirst Phamily in helping us make our tailgate the Ultimate Tailgate Experience at the SHC.
