Lily Flynn & Charlotte Roberts: A Lineage of Women in Song

A Lineage of Women in Song features soprano Lily Flynn and pianist Charlotte Roberts (also the series’ artistic director) in a powerful and intimate program celebrating female composers across time.

With music by Clara Schumann, Fanny Mendelssohn, Lili Boulanger, Germaine Tailleferre, and Linda Kouvaras the concert shines a light on voices that have shaped music history - often from the sidelines. The afternoon will also feature the world premiere of Lily Flynn’s own compositions, written in response to this legacy.
