As spring breathes new life into Naarm, FREEFORM emerges - a new outdoor festival celebrating sound without borders and connection without limits.
Set beneath the wide skies and idyllic surrounds of the iconic Sidney Myer Music Bowl, this two stage event brings together global trailblazers and local icons for a sonic adventure from sunlight to starlight.
Guiding the journey is the return of the adored FOUR TET, master of deep, kaleidoscopic rhythm; FLOATING POINTS in collaboration with artist AKIKO NAKAYAMA and HAMILL INDUSTRIES, premiering his breathtaking new live AV show "CASCADE" for the first time in Australia; and the long-awaited debut of SKEE MASK, whose fearless blend of techno, jungle and bass will rumble through the night.
Joining them are Tokyo’s wild spirit ATSUO THE PINEAPPLE DONKEY (live), Miami’s bass-fuelled duo INVT, and dynamic selector DARWIN.
With support from Skylab Radio, local legends DJ JNETT, YIKES, YARRA, CHULEO CLUB and JONO MA complete the bill, bringing the country’s vibrant underground to the open air.
