Helping Hand Make & Donate Event

The event is to collect and make care packages and gifts for hospice patients in the region. We are collecting items that can be given to patients as they enter hospice and to make them feel special and bring a smile to their faces from time to time.

We will have some supplies donated by area businesses and individuals to put gift bags together, to make crafts, cards, blankets, silk flower arrangements, etc.

You can drop donations off at Rhodes Diner at any time or bring them and join the rewarding opportunity to give back. General items for the treat bags include (not limited to) mini-chocolates, cans of Coke, Pepsi, and bottles of tea, pudding cups, peanut butter crackers, cheese crackers, etc. Other groups have added inspirational quotes, messages, and Bible verses in the bags. We are absolutely open to suggestions and ideas.

This event is available for anyone who would like to volunteer, Sunday School classes, students completing service hours for school, etc.
