Join us for another Lit Lunch, this time in the Adams Conference Room at the Medford Library! Bring your own lunch and some of your work that you'd like feedback on.
Free, and appropriate for writers (18+) of all levels, Lit Lunch is your opportunity to tap into the energy and inspiration that comes from being a part of a writing community!
While Lit Lunch is not a time to plan to read more than a few paragraphs, it is your chance to bring your works-in-progress or even just your undeveloped inspiration and get feedback, answers, and ideas to help you move forward. Maybe you're struggling with a particular point in your plot, or perhaps a character has taken the reins and run off in a direction you never intended your story to go. Or maybe you've written an article or a poem and you need help figuring out where to submit it for publication?
More focused than our Happy Hours, but more laid-back than a workshop or seminar, Lit Lunch will be an inspiration-BUILDER and a writers-block-BUSTER. No matter what point you're at in the writing process, if you need an answer, an idea, a push in the right direction, Lit Lunch is for you.
Please Note: Only work you’d like to receive feedback on should be brought to Lit Lunch. Finished drafts and published works you’re not revising should be saved for future events where the focus is on reading polished writing.
