Keep’n Safe is an organization that teaches 1st Responders what resources are available to treat and survive PTSD and addictions to alcohol or drugs. The addictions to alcohol could be from coping with the traumatic incidents they have had to respond to while the addiction to medicines could be due to injuries they received while on duty.
Keep’n Safe assists 1st Responders by sponsoring multiple one day events where facilities, counselors and other nonprofits provide presentations of the services they offer and provide. Information booths are manned to provide answers to questions and further information about services available. The invitation to this events is to administrators of 1st Responders, 1st Responders, Peer Support personnel, and family members of 1st Responders. The overall purpose of Keep’n Safe is to educate 1st Responders the services available for 1st Responders in crisis and to assist those in need to get the treatment needed.
Presentations will occur throughout the day by Representatives of Facilities, Counselors and non-profits that provide services to First Responders in need.
FREE LUNCH IS PROVIDED TO ALL ATTENDEES!
