Linfield University’s Center for Wine Education invites you to a Wildcat Wine Chat on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, from 2–3 PM.
Director Maria Ponzi will host a fireside conversation with Tiquette Bramlett, a trailblazer whose vision and leadership are reshaping the wine industry.
Bramlett is the Founder of Henderson Ave Wines, a canned wine brand inspired by her Bay Area roots and dedicated to making wine approachable, inclusive, and welcoming for all. She is also the Founder and CEO of Our Legacy Harvested, the nonprofit she launched in 2020 to expand diversity and opportunity in Oregon’s wine industry.
Since joining the Willamette Valley wine community in 2015, Bramlett has made history as in May 2021, she became the first black woman hired to lead a winery both in Oregon and the country at Compris Vineyard (formerly known as Vidon Vineyard), and in May 2023, she was named Vice President of Chosen Family Wines, founded by NBA Champion Channing Frye.
She earned national recognition from Wine Enthusiast, USA TODAY, and Portland Business Journal for her visionary leadership. She also serves on multiple boards, including the UC Davis School of Viticulture and Enology and the Oregon Wine Board.
Join us as Maria and Tiquette explore themes of passion, progress, and paving the way in wine—from building community to shaping the future of the industry.
This free event is open to the public, including those under 21.
