John Lewis Day: Voting Rights: Our Future

Please save the date for the commemoration of the historic and legendary civil rights leader and U.S. Congressman, John Lewis sponsored by The Historic Cine El Rey Theatre in McAllen and Village in the Valley (ViVa).

Good Trouble Lives On is a national non-violent action to respond to the attacks posed on our civil and human rights, including our voting rights. From the felony disenfranchisement to voter suppression bills like the Save Act, anti-democracy forces are working overtime to silence our voices.

On July 17th, the anniversary of Representative John Lewis' passing, we are mobilizing across the country to demand that Congress protect our rights and ensure free and fair elections for all. Be a part of this important event!
