The Town of Matthews and CenterWell Senior Primary Care is excited to present a special night of stand-up comedy at the Fullwood Theater in the Matthews Community Center.
Join us for all the laughs on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. Seating is General Admission, and doors will open at 6:00 p.m. Join us early to grab a seat and a delicious drink. Beer and wine will be available for purchase on-site from Divine Barrel Brewing.
This show is rated PG-13. One night only and limited capacity! Advance ticket purchases are highly encouraged.

HEADLINER MIKE SPEENBERG
Comedian Mike Speenberg is funny. He's performed on 5 different continents, entertained everyone from Hall of Fame Athletes to US Diplomats, shared the stage with everyone from Robin Williams to Bill Burr, and been featured on FOX, CNN, DryBar Comedy, Comedy Central, Pureflix, and even Armed Forces Radio.
In 2013 Mike was an International Semi Finalist in Comedy Central's "UP NEXT" Comedy Competition. In 2016 he was chosen to appear on Pureflix Comedy All Stars hosted by Louie Anderson. Mike filmed his 45 minute DryBar Comedy Special in 2018. It's been viewed over 10 million times. Mike is also a very proud Rock 92 "Two Guys Named Chris" Comedy Allstar. Twice.
His live album, PIzza and Corn, released in March of 2022, went to #4 on Apple Music's Comedy Albums Chart and can be heard on 3 different Sirius/XM channels.
Mike has also traveled everywhere from Guantanamo Bay, Cuba to Baghdad, Iraq on numerous occasions to perform for the men and women of the United States Military.

Born and raised in Abbeville South Carolina Jas has been on comedy scene for eight years now. Her perspective on life as a single female who is just trying to get her bills paid will Tickle your fancy. Jokes aside she truly feels as if she has a gift to make people happy and she just wants the opportunity to share it with the World.
HOST + SHOW PRODUCER LAUREN ANSLEY
Based in Charlotte, Lauren Ansley LOVES seeing audiences laugh! She is the Founder of Beerly Funny and Ansley Corporate Entertainment, where she has been named employee of the month ever since launching the business. She credits this achievement to hard work, dedication, and being the only employee.
In 2019, Lauren produced her own comedy showcase under the brand “Beerly Funny.” Since then, she has produced and hosted well over 100 Beerly Funny comedy shows in the Greater Charlotte region. She has a passion for entertaining and creating more moments of joy and laughter.
