Rowsley to Matlock walk

This is a one-way walk using a bus or possibly train to get us to our start point at Massarella’s café, Rowsley Retail Park. I propose we meet at the café for a coffee beforehand and leave at 11:00.
We’ll walk past Stanton in Peak, linger at Nine Ladies and contemplate the view from Will Shore’s Tree before arriving in Matlock. Bring lunch.
Technicalities: 13.1 km, ascent 480m, descent 450m. Estimated walking time 4h 55m.
There are three potential bus pick-up points in Matlock: Bakewell Road busstation, the train station and Gateway Court - the flats on the A6 near Sainsburys. The steam choo-choo might also be operating from the platform near
Sainsburys if you like that sort of thing. Transport is frequent and timetables are liable to change so best to Google before travel.
