Derbyshire County council - Every pair tells a story national movement

Every pair of shoes tells a story. Families across the UK are leaving empty shoes outside council offices to symbolise the thousands of children being failed by the SEND system.

This local event in Derbyshire is part of the national Every Pair Tells a Story action, showing that children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities deserve education, support, and a future.

Bring along a pair of shoes to represent your child, or simply come and stand with us in solidarity. Together we’ll show the scale of this crisis – and that families in Derbyshire will not stay silent.
