Music on Maple with Leverty, Leedes & Austin

EXCITING NEWS! Music on Maple is officially back and better than ever this year!

The Mathews County Visitor & Information Center and the Mathews County Historical Society, Inc. are hosting three concerts- mark your calendars for May 2nd, July 11th and October 10th!

After a multi-year hiatus due to construction on Sibley's and the Thomas James Store, this intimate local concert series is returning with some great new acts! Each concert will be from 6-9 pm, tickets will be $30, and we will have food trucks, as well as drinks available for purchase! There are also sponsorship opportunities available- keep an eye out for more info coming later this week!

On October 10, we are so lucky to have the talented combo of Leverty, Leedes and Austin performing together to recreate some of your favorite Grateful Dead songs and maybe a little down-home Americana too! John Leedes, Taylor Leverty and Doug Austin are known around the state for their lively musical styles, and for playing in multiple bands that feature Dead-related tunes! Local musician Shane Norris will be opening for them, and we can't wait to jam out with all of these guys!

On the Flip Side food truck will also be set up at this event, and we'll be selling beer from Gloucester Brewing Company, as well as wine, soft drinks and water!
