Matawan's Fishing Clinic for Kids at Lake Lefferts Park

Calling all Matawan Kids! Here’s your chance to get hooked on summer fun!

The Matawan Recreation Commission is reeling in the fun with a Fishing Clinic for Kids at Lake Lefferts Park! Whether they're first-time casters or young anglers ready to level up, this is a great way to learn, play, and enjoy the outdoors!

When: Five Wednesdays: July 16 – August 13
Where: Lake Lefferts Park in Matawan
Ages: Kids ages 5–15
Cost: $60 per child – includes 5 one-hour lessons, bait, and a hand-painted lure to keep after completing the course!

Time Ages 5–10: 5–6 PM
Time Ages 11–15: 6–7 PM

An adult must be present to assist your child.
