William Welch Wines Comedy Night

Another fun evening of laughs with host Pat McCoy and featuring Ben Feldman and Larry "Bubbles" Brown along with Headliner Michael Meehan.

MICHAEL MEEHAN is a San Francisco comedian, who has written and directed a feature film, Hey Monster, Hands off my City, to rave reviews, starring a cavalcade of comedians. He has also written and performed theatrical shows with his 2 brothers, Howard and Chris, MEEHAN. MYSELF and I, MOMMA’S BOYS and several short films as well as being one of the original SF SKETCHFEST groups. Michael has been a regular at The OTHER CAFE’s Comedy Theater week, and has written and performed stand up and sketches on many stages, including Fringe Festivals in Minneapolis, Edmonton and San Francisco. He has also appeared on numerous Television shows, such as The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Last Comic Standing, The Dennis Miller show, PBS Comedy Tonight with Whoopi Goldberg, MTV’s Half Hour Comedy, Crafters Coast to Coast and numerous films. Michael Meehan has been performing stand up since 1984 and continues to appear regularly onstage, as well as teach comedy classes at the SF Comedy College and is a frequent guest on radio shows. He is also an accomplished painter and sculptor, but don’t hold that against him. He can be seen regularly at Mill Valley’s Throckmorton Theatre as well as clubs around the Bay Area.

LARRY "BUBBLES" BROWN has sustained a San Francisco comedy career touching five decades by being self-deprecating, pessimistic and bitingly hilarious. He has appeared on "Late Night with David Letterman" twice holding the record for longest time between appearances by a comedian. He is a frequent opener for Dana Carvey, Dave Attell, and Rob Schneider, and is a regular guest on "Fantastic," Dana Carvey's popular podcast. Larry has realized he has to do stand up forever since comedy lacks a retirement plan.

BEN FELDMAN was named one of the Best Comics To Watch by SF Weekly. His acerbic wit is provocative yet playful, delivered with glints of absurdity as he teeters back and forth along the thick line between aggression and charm. Ben features regularly at the San Francisco Punchline, Sacramento Punchline, Cobb's, and throughout California and the West Coast, and has featured for Norm MacDonald, Robin Williams, Phil Hanley, Jeff Dye, Tom Rhodes, Mike Birbiglia, Chris Kattan, and Bobby Slayton to name a few.
