First Storytime of Summer + Lunch

Come and join us for our first storytime of the summer on the West Lawn, with interactive stories, songs, and fingerplays. We'll read and sing about food, including a visit by the Very Hungry Caterpillar and our friends from ISU Extension, and families can get signed up to earn prizes in this year's Summer Reading Challenge.

Bring a blanket or towel to sit on; chairs are welcome along the back and edges of the crowd on the ground. (If weather issues, we'll be inside the large meeting room, mostly floor seating.)

Storytime is free and open to any families or groups with fewer than 8 children. Summer storytime is followed by serving of summer lunch for an on-site picnic (as supplies last). Daycares or preschools, please call 641-754-5738, ext. 3 for options.
