Each 50-minute session begins with an edge warm-up, followed by focused drills that cover a variety of skills throughout the clinic, including agility, crossovers, deception, edge control, explosiveness, forward and backward skating, stops, stride, transitions, and turns. The format remains consistent, but drills and exercises vary from session to session to keep skaters progressing.
These drills and exercises are for skaters looking to improve their skating ability and support their in-season goals. Pucks will not be used during these sessions, but full gear and a stick are required. Clinic will focus on overall skating, including balance, control, proper form and technique, accelerating, and power. We will build on skills that are already strong and challenge the areas that need more work, focusing on what should be mastered at your level. Stronger skating supports everything else in hockey, including stickhandling, positioning, and overall game play.
Registration begins on June 17th at 10:00 AM and ends July 17th, 2025.
