We start in the Sound Pyramid (Barn) with optional sharing of intentions for a sound meditation journey that lasts one hour. Please feel free to arrive early or stay later to walk the grounds and soak in the peaceful, transformative nature of the land here. Dip your toes in the river, sit by the flowing lakes, or find a seat on a meditative bench or stone. We will have tea and water available.
What is "Sound Healing"?
We have found it to be a blend of non rhythmic overtones of a large range of frequencies. The sound current is heard and felt from inside you as it permeates your cells. The sound helps clear and restore your physical and energetic fields.
Dawn loves to keep the sound wave in the theta brainwave pattern for the whole 60 minutes. This affords your nervous system time to decompress out of sympathetic / fight or flight and to activate the parasympathetic where you can rest, digest, and heal. Press the reset button and take a pause in time to get back to center, regroup, and to nourish your unique intention.
What do we do during a sound healing?
Just lay down or sit and meditate on the sounds. Let them take you on a journey into your own being. A time to relax into yourself.
It's a right brain, passive experience that lasts one hour. Blankets, pads and pillows are provided and you and bring your own as well.
Afterwards, enjoy the land until you're ready to go. Or stay overnight in one of our cozy rooms!
