The 10U AA team will compete in the NIHL league and District 8 MAHA tournament.
The team will have between 60-70 practices. 40-45 games. Attend 3-4 tournaments, plus MAHA district 8 tournament. Estimated budget per player is approximately $1027 per player based on a 17 player roster, plus the usual association membership fee of $175.00 (which covers uniform costs and other association operating costs). Actual cost will vary, but probably be lower with fundraising opportunities and conservative budgeting. 95% of the games & tournament dates are already completed and scheduled, with a small amount of variance left based on player/parent desires to finish out the last 5% of games.
The team will be coached by myself, Jake Spear. I played five years of Tier II AA hockey between two different associations, as well as three years of Div. 1. MI-HS Varsity Hockey. I have six years of youth hockey coaching experience, with this past season, our team winning all 3 tournaments it competed in, as well as winning the 8U MAHA Blue State Championship.
