*Today begins Kartik Purnima* AND *Diwali* is coming up after our kirtan on Saturday.
Both of these festival are a *celebration of light* and so on Saturday during the kirtan we will offer everyone a candle to light and add to the alter.
Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be diminished. One source of goodness (light) can illuminate many others 🕯️ ✨

Join Emily Cobie and friends as we chant and sing mantras together! No experience necessary! Singing is inherent within everyone who has the ability to make sound, and you don’t need to be a trained singer to give your full devotion!
Kirtan is a call and response chanting practice born and raised by India’s bhakti traditions, with Bhakti referring to devotion and love, and many of the chants focused upon the devotion and love towards a deity or the divine.
So bring your voice, instruments and friends and lets chant together :)
