THE STORY
Set against the backdrop of the bleak and desolate English moors, this darkly comic tale follows two sisters and their dog as they navigate lives steeped in longing, ambition, and isolation. When a hapless governess and a curious moor-hen arrive, their presence ignites a chain of events that leads each character down a strange and dangerous path.
With biting wit and haunting beauty, The Moors explores themes of love, desperation, and the need to be seen. Part Gothic drama, part absurdist comedy, this play challenges expectations while delivering both laughter and unease.
Branch River Theatre invites audiences to experience this daring production that blends humor, menace, and a touch of absurdism in a way only Jen Silverman can deliver.
