About the event

Memorial Forest/Desert Walk

Join SVT Conservation Director Laura Mattei for a “post-burn” walk through the Desert Conservation Area to observe how plants and habitat have responded to the prescribed fire that was conducted in late March. We will discuss plant adaptations to fire and the wildlife species that benefit from this type of management. Meet at the Desert Natural Area Parking Lot in Marlborough.
