Dementia Information Event (become a Dementia Friend too!)

Are you looking for dementia support for a loved one or perhaps yourself? We are holding a dementia information event, where you can come along for advice and support from local community groups.

You also have the opportunity to become a Dementia Friend too, with Hayleigh Kicks, Leicestershire's Dementia Ambassador for Alzheimer's Society. A 50 minute 'Dementia Friend' session will be offered at 2pm and 3pm. The session is fun and interactive to learn more about dementia and putting yourself in the shoes of someone living with the condition. At the end of the session you will receive a lovely badge and be offered the opportunity to officially become a ‘dementia friend’.
