On Saturday, 8/16 Gail Dreifus and David Budries continue a weekend residency at the Art Park, but this time with the Mariposa Ukele Ensemble. This proved to be a popular evening of Music on the Green last season. The Ensemble has been practicing for a number of years now and had around twenty players for their performance last season, complete with drummer, upright bass, singers, and a slew of different ukuleles. Their repitoir consists of classics spanning many genres and a large time frame and is sure to please.
All performances begin at 7 p.m. (unless otherwise noted) at the Mariposa County Art Park (5013 Hwy 140) in historic downtown Mariposa, CA. Parking is available along 4th and 5th St. The lower 5th St. parking lot provides an accessible pedestrian path to the Art Park through the Mariposa Creek Parkway entry. Tips for the performers will be solicited, encouraged, and appreciated.
