Sunday Wood Work - June 2025

A monthly morning of woodland tasks!

We will be hosting our usual monthly wood work morning at Dane Valley Woods.

It is between 10am and 1pm, do pop along to see what we do and help your local community. We will initially meet at our HQ in the Dane Valley allotments:

All tools and training provided. Under 16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Please wear sensible shoes and clothing, and be ready to get stuck in 🙂 You can stay for as long or as little as you like, all help is greatly appreciated!

Tasks vary from month to month. Summer tasks may include path maintenance, removing bindweed and alexanders from around saplings, watering trees during drought, and wildflower meadow care.

Refreshments are provided at the end of the morning for our hard working volunteers.
