Based in the United States, R Jay draws heavily on his Haitian roots, infusing his comedy with relatable anecdotes, cultural references, and humorous takes on immigrant experiences. Hailing from Grenada and New York, DJ Boy-Z got his start like so many DJs before him—playing for friends at parties. Thanks to hard work he landed an opportunity to host his own podcast with Mixx Trend Radio where he currently hosts in collaboration with his wife Queen B and co-host R-Jay Jean. Because of his unique gift of mixing all music with an easy flowing blend, Mixx Trend Radio offered him his own segment to play R & B music purley as a solo host.

DJ Boy-Z was opened up to a world of performing opportunities. For over a decade he has DJed for bars, clubs, and special events in New York, Grenada, Florida, and all over the world through his podcast.

DJ Boy-Z is an open format DJ, so nothing is off limits when he performs. He brings together hip-hop, reggae, soca, kompas, afro beats, r&b, freestyle, and more to get the crowd amped and the dancing hot.
