Learn the basics of how to rescue injured and orphaned kangaroos and wallabies. Presented by Wildlife Ecologist Shai Ager - you’ll also have the opportunity to join our supportive wildlife rescue team, if you choose to continue your journey as a Wildlife Warrior!
Course topics: Code of practise, licensing requirements, identification, methods of capture and assessing the animal.
This session is for anyone who wants to know how to rescue a joey, young-at-foot or adult macropod. It carefully describes how to safely remove a joey from it’s mothers’ pouch. People under the age of 16 can still attend, however must be accompanied by an adult and will share their information pack.
