PUBLIC ACCESS FOUNDATIONS — NEW GROUP CLASS!
For Assistance Dogs and Everyday Dogs Who Want Real World Manners
We’re excited to launch a brand new group course designed for dogs who need to be calm, confident and well mannered out in the real world — whether they’re working assistance dogs or family pets who love coming along to cafés, markets and shops.
This course is run in a safe, controlled class environment, but every week includes real world simulations such as trolleys, bikes, food on the ground, and navigating tight spaces.
At the end of class, we’ll head out together for lunch or a walk through the markets so dogs can practise their new skills in real life.
This course focuses on practical, everyday skills, including:
• Settling calmly at a café table
• Ignoring food on the ground
• Staying neutral around other dogs
• Walking past trolleys, prams, bikes and scooters
• Navigating tight spaces and busy environments
• Building emotional resilience and confidence
• Developing reliable manners in public spaces
If you want a dog who can actually cope with the world — not just perform obedience in a hall — this is the course for you.
Suitable for:
✔ Assistance dogs in training
✔ Pet dogs who go out and about
✔ Dogs needing confidence in public spaces
✔ Handlers wanting calm, predictable behaviour in busy places
