Pony Club Badge Session – Grooming

Time: 10:00am – 12:00pm
Price: £23 per child (optional badge £5 for Pony Club members)
Join us for a fun, hands-on Pony Club Workshop all about grooming – one of the most important parts of pony care!
This 2-hour session is part of our Pony Club Achievement Badge series and is perfect for young riders who want to learn how to look after their ponies with confidence.
During this session, riders will learn:
🐴 Why grooming is important for every pony’s health and comfort
🦶 Why a pony’s feet should be picked out every day (and by whom)
🧽 How to recognise and use different grooming tools such as a dandy brush and curry comb
💇 How to comb a pony’s mane and tail safely and correctly
🌟 Which areas of the pony are most important to groom
We’ll mix practical activities and discussion to make the session engaging, educational, and fun for all participants.
Badges:
Pony Club members can purchase the official Grooming Badge for £5 to mark their achievement and add to their growing collection.
Who can attend:
Open to Pony Club members and non-members who would like to take part in the learning (only members can receive the official badge).
Suitable for ages 6 years+ and all experience levels – we adapt the session to suit the group.
Booking:
Spaces are limited, so early booking is recommended.
Payment is taken at the time of booking through Ticket Tailor.
What to bring:
Suitable footwear and clothing for working around ponies
Drink and snack for break time
