Walking Together: A Journey of Unity and Healing
Join us on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at Memorial Peace Park in Maple Ridge from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM for a powerful day of reflection, learning, and community connection.
This year’s event, themed “Walking Together: A Journey of Unity and Healing,” is a collaborative effort by many local organizations committed to honouring the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and sharing its vital message with Maple Ridge and surrounding communities.
Hosted by Katzie First Nation and PLEA Community Services, this free, family-friendly event is made possible with the generous support of sponsors including Canadian Heritage, Indigenous Reconciliation Fund, Westcoast Family Centres, Coast Mental Health, Miss 604, Alouette Addictions, the City of Maple Ridge, and the City of Pitt Meadows.
What to Expect:

- Indigenous guest speakers
- Cultural performances by local Indigenous dancers, drummers, and artists
- Orange shirt painting
- Over 50 Indigenous and local vendors and artisans
- Community Art Project and more!
We are also honoured to welcome back motivational speaker and hip hop artist K.A.S.P. for a special performance and speech.
