Louisiana Orphan Train presentation at the Sabine Parish Library

For those interested in the orphan trains that brought Louisiana thousands of New York children, including babies, mark your calendars. The Sabine Parish Library will host a presentation by the staff of the Louisiana Orphan Train Museum located in Opelousas on July 29th at 5:00pm. Learn more about this remarkable journey that removed nearly 200,000 orphan children from the large cities in the Northeast to Mid-America including our state.
