About the event

Mantalooking Bridge /Herring Island/Barnegat Bay Exploration
Another early Sunday beat the motor boats and jet skis paddle.

Meet at 8 AM and launch around 8:30 AM. We will explore Barnegat Bay, Herring Island, and possibly F Cove. The exact trip will be based on weather and water conditions, and is I expect to be off the water around noon to 1 PM.

You can find the kayak ramp through the boat yard to the left of the main building with bathrooms. Please unload your kayaks and gear near the ramp and then park in the gravel log near the kayak ramp. This is a great location to launch kayaks with ample parking, bathrooms, and the kayak ramp separate and in a different part of the park from the concrete motorboat/jet ski ramps.

Trip Requirements & Suggestions:
- 14+ foot kayak with PFD and spray skirt
- Bring water, sunscreen, snack/lunch, change of clothes, etc.
