About the event

Gathering of the North: Sherwood Forest
The Gathering of the North is an exciting historical re-enactment event set in the heart of Sherwood Forest, Edwinstowe, Nottinghamshire. Taking place from 10am to 4pm daily on the May Bank Holiday (24th, 25th and 26th May 2025), this event promises a day filled with medieval charm and immersive historical experiences.

Organized by Fireside Events Ltd and supported by RSPB Sherwood Forest, the event features thrilling tournaments, live performances, traditional traders, and interactive market stalls. Visitors can enjoy competitive Kubbs, jousts, hand-to-hand combat demonstrations, and much more, all within the enchanting setting of Sherwood Forest.

Join us for a journey back in time and experience the magic of the medieval era at the Gathering of the North.
