Introduction to NJ Trout Fishing

New to trout fishing? Join the Pequest Natural Resource Education staff to learn what gear you need, regulations, where to go and techniques to use to get you hooked on trout fishing. This talk is for beginner anglers who are learning to fish and would like to target trout.

Age Limits

For ages 12 years and above. Participants 16 years and younger must be accompanied by a participating adult.

Arrival

Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. We will start promptly. If you are more than 15 minutes late, you will not be permitted into the program.

Cancellations

NJ DEP Fish & Wildlife programs require a minimum number of registrants to run. Programs at Pequest Natural Resource Education Center are RAIN or SHINE, but in the event of severe weather, classes may be canceled. If we cancel, due to lack of participation, severe weather, or unforeseen circumstances, all participants will be notified by email as soon as possible.
