Whether you're a fan of horseback rides, hayrides, or just enjoying the beauty of the outdoors, there's something for everyone at this year's Spring Fest. Crowe's Nest Farm hosts thousands of Central Texas students and families each year. We are dedicated to fostering an appreciation, understanding and wise stewardship of our Texas agricultural and wildlife resources.
Crowe's Nest Farm is a 501(c)3 non-profit educational organization dedicated to fostering public appreciation, knowledge, and wise stewardship of the agricultural and wildlife resources of Texas. We are licensed by the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture, U.S. Dept. of Fish and Wildlife, and Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, Crowe's Nest Farm works with local organizations such as Wildlife Rescue, Inc, the Travis County Sheriff's livestock division, and local humane societies by taking in injured, orphaned, abused, neglected and other non-releasable animals for care and sanctuary.

Info: Last Chance Forever believes education is the key to making a larger impact in the world, and supports this belief with public educational programming about raptors and practical environmentalism.Our mission is to help sick, injured, and orphaned birds of prey return to their natural habitat. Birds that are deemed non-releasable and are not suffering physical pain are utilized as educational ambassadors and are provided permanent sanctuary
Info: Rema Penney, our resident Herpetologist will present a lesson on the reptiles of Crowe's Nest Farm. Do you know which snakes are a friend of Jack and which ones aren't? Come learn how to be safe with snakes and meet our lizards!
Info: Every 30 minutes through out the day - Meet our Jersey Cow Daisy and her calf Clover and learn about where our favorite foods milk, yogurt, cheese and ice cream come from! Crowe's Nest Farmers demonstrate hand and machine milking and answer your questions in the milking barn.
Info: Enjoy a ride to our outer pastures on our Amish-made hay wagon and see the bison roam. Learn about the great American Bison up close and see how Crowe's Nest Farm is helping to provide sanctuary to this once almost extinct magnificent animals.
Info: Come see how sheep are shorn! Once a year our master weaver and spinner comes to shear our sheep. She'll provide information about the wool textile industry as she expertly trims the sheep with her traveling sheep shearing station. See what those fluffy critters actually look like without their thick wooly coats!
