About the event

Blessing of the Animals at St. Bonaventure!

Join us Saturday, October 4 after the 4:00 pm Mass, or Sunday October 5 after the 11:30 Mass, where we will meet at outside the front of the church in the grassy area near the flower basket pergola to bless your LIVE pets in celebration of St. Francis of Assisi's feast day! (Sorry, stuffies don't count)

Please keep your beloved pets on a leash or in a carrier through the blessing for everyone's safety. All participants will be given a blessed medal of St. Francis, the Patron Saint of pets and animals, to take home and wear on their collars! This outdoor event is rain or shine! All varieties of animals welcome!
