The mission of our parish Prayer Shawl Ministry is to reach out to anyone in need of prayers, hope and compassion through this Work of Mercy and love in Christ's name. Our Ministry volunteers serve others by offering their time and talents to knit and crochet shawls and lap robes while joining in communal and silent prayer for God's special blessings of mercy, love, comfort, hope, and peace for each shawl recipient.
TO REQUEST A PRAYER SHAWL OR LAP ROBE...
Anyone residing in our parish area of Manomet and south Plymouth is welcome to request a hand-crafted Prayer Shawl or Lap Robe for themselves or for a relative or friend who is experiencing physical or emotional illness, recovery from addiction, family separation, infirmity, loneliness or mourning the loss of a loved one. Ministry Volunteers gather on the first Monday of each month October to June from 1:00 - 3:00 pm at the Parish Center.
Fall 2025: October 6, November 3, December 1
Winter/spring 2026; January 5, February 2. March 2, April 6, May 4 and June 1.
