Community Cleanup Series: Red Jacket Valley Park (on water)

Join us for a day of environmental action in the great outdoors as we clean up Red Jacket Valley Park in Mankato. Great weather, good company, and plenty of treasures await you. This is an ON WATER event so bring out your kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards. For those who don't have a boat or wish to stay off the water, we also need help on land combing the beaches, parking lots, and trails.

Blue Earth Project will provide all other necessary equipment and waste disposal. This includes bags, high visibility vests, and gloves. All you need to do is show up!

This is one of many community cleanups that we will be hosting in 2025. New this year is the introduction of our data collection app that you can use on your own device to help us conduct a litter study in Greater Mankato.

Please bring your own water. A small backpack could prove useful.

Parking** When you enter the park follow the main road all the way down to the last parking lot on your right hand side just above the main beach.
