Why This Training Matters:
Our daily jobs expose us to adrenaline, trauma, and stressors that the public rarely sees. Over time, the weight of this work can erode decision-making, personal well-being, and even our moral compass—often without us even realizing it.
This session isn’t just about awareness—it’s about survival. Emotional survival. Ethical survival. Career survival.
With real-world, boots-on-the-ground insights, you'll gain tools and tactics to:
 Recognize chronic and post-traumatic stress
 Manage adrenaline and emotional exhaustion
 Stay grounded in your values
Protect yourself and your crew—mentally, emotionally, and physically
Keep your loved ones informed and empowered
Topics include:
• Stepping off the adrenaline Roller
•The “Triangle of Success”
• The “Terrible 10” stressors every responder faces
• Suicidal Tendencies Awareness
•Post-Traumatic Stress Symptoms
•Managing Critical Incident Stress
• Identifying Cumulative Acute Stress
• Core Values and Situational Values
• Lifestyle Habits and Warning Signs
•Support Keys and Phrases
• Situational awareness and ethical decision-making
• 4 C’s for Survival
Whether you wear the gear or love someone who does, this training is for you.
Let’s support one another, strengthen our departments, and take care of the people who answer the call—day in and day out.
We encourage township officials and community leaders to attend as well, to better understand what it takes to stand behind the badge and how we can work together to keep our first responders safe and well.
