Flores de Mayo is celebrated in the month of May. A pageant, known as ‘Santacruza’ is also held on the last day of the festival, honoring the finding of the True Cross by Helena of Constantinople and Constantine the Great. The festival includes performances, exhibitions culinary events and so on to foster a sense of respect, pride, and unity in the citizens of the country. The Metro Manila Film Festival begins on Christmas and continues till the first week of January. It showcases Filipino films and only those that are approved by jurors. The Metro Manila Film Festival is the second festival in the world to exclude foreign movies for a week-long period. Floats entries represent movies, each one with their respective stars.

Started in November 2014 and powered by Panasonic, it is a four-day show, which broadcasted live on Youtube. This trade show has become a household name for those who are fashion-maniacs and is organized twice a year. The Hydro Manila Music Festival is one of those festivals in Manila where people soak in not only music but also water. The festival combines music with splashes of rain, making it one of a kind. Started in 2015, it is widely known for its hashtag, #WeMakeItRain. The Craft Beer Association of the Philippines and the Greenfield Development Corporation organized the Manila Craft Beer Festival where approximately 250 different types of craft beers from 44 breweries are made available for sale. With the admission being free, non-beer drinks and guests of all age groups can engage in the delicious food, live performances and games that are organized along with the festival to keep the masses hooked.
