AWAKENING - A Spring Styled Photoshoot

Set in a white-walled, natural light studio, Awakening is a visual poem— where light meets softness, and stillness gives way to growth. Inspired by the quiet beauty of transformation.

The Set Design

Together, we’ll create imagery on 2 main sets, a sculptural frame overgrown with dried vines— the cracked plaster texture contrasts with the organic overgrowth, evoking themes of decay, time, and rebirth.

The second being filled with billowing ivory drapes, antique furniture, and fresh green moss —where nature has taken back the space in a graceful, almost theatrical way. It’s refined but wild, structured but undone. (Visuals in the moodboard photos)

Talent + Styling
We'll welcome 2 beautiful models into our world, styled in flowing bright yellows and earthy greens. With flowers placed in their hair, and bold yet natural glowy makeup, they will be naturally incorperated into these sets. Posing is soft, playful, and introspective —walking barefoot on moss, leaning into the light, or framed by organic elements like archways of vine or petals on the floor.

Color Palette
Soft lilacs, deep forest green, golden crocus yellow, and earthy neutrals give the set a painterly feel. These tones are echoed in the props and wardrobe—dresses in sheer, airy fabrics, textured vintage accessories, and minimalist florals in purple and white tones.

Lighting
Natural light floods the studio, diffused through sheer curtains to create a glow that mimics a quiet afternoon in spring. Reflective surfaces—like a pool of mirrored flooring—cast watery highlights, adding movement and depth to each frame.

Mood
There's a nostalgic wonder in the air, as if stepping into a page from an old storybook where time has slowed, and every detail hums with life. It's both grounded and otherworldly, a merging of studio minimalism with the wildness of nature.
