Since 1993, the Chorus has pursued a “musical pro bono” mission, changing the public's perception of legal professionals for the better, one outreach performance at a time. Through 300+ concerts for thousands of listeners in a wide variety of community settings, the Chorus has made a significant positive impact on the life of New York City.
The City Bar Chorus has also been heard on local and national television and public radio, and made its Carnegie Hall debut in 2019. It has sung at two ABA Annual Meetings, in a New York Theatre Workshop production, and collaboratively with other legal choruses from Spain, Scotland, and Chicago.
Our upcoming program showcases musical theater and film hits, including from Sweeney Todd, Encanto, Kinky Boots, The Greatest Showman, and (of course!) Wicked. You’ll also hear hits ranging from Billy Joel to Bruno Mars, Billie Eilish to Brandi Carlile, and much more. Come hear us and discover what our audiences have been raving about!
**This program will be presented on both Thursday, June 26, 2025, and Friday, June 27, 2025, at the same time and New York City Bar location, with an identical setlist each evening.**
No advance tickets or seat reservations. Suggested donation: $30 (adults) / $20 (seniors, students, and children), tax-deductible and payable at the door by cash, check, or credit card. Proceeds to benefit the City Bar Fund and the New York City Bar Chorus.
