Demonstration Gardens around the state of Kansas are outdoor classrooms and labs for K-State Research & Extension. Demonstration Gardens provide opportunities to trial new plant varieties, test new gardening techniques, conduct research, and provide a hands-on opportunity for Kansans to learn. Join us for the July K-State Garden Hour webinar as we highlight some of the Extension Demonstration Gardens located throughout the state. Join us on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2025 from Noon to 1:00pm as we hear from Extension Agents Matthew McKernan, Markis Hill, Jason Graves, and Jay Harris, alongside Johnson County Master Gardener Coordinator Mary Mathew, as they share how their county’s demonstration gardens serve as hubs for education, sustainability, and community engagement. Don't miss this unique opportunity to learn from leaders helping shape the future of gardening in Kansas.
