Seniors Week: Carpet bowls come and try session

Looking for some light-hearted competition and plenty of laughs? Join us for a come and try session of carpet bowls, the perfect way to enjoy a social game while meeting new people. No previous experience is needed—just come along, have a go, and enjoy the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

Carpet bowls is easy to learn, fun to play, and suitable for all abilities. The game combines gentle movement with a touch of friendly competition, making it a great way to keep active while having fun.

Whether you’re aiming for accuracy or simply enjoying the roll of the bowl, every game is filled with smiles and laughter.

As one of the centre’s most popular activities, carpet bowls is held three times a week—Monday, Wednesday and Friday—so there are always opportunities to join in.

Come along, try it out, and you might just discover a new favourite pastime!
