Seniors Week: Knitwits come and try session

Curious about knitting or crochet? Or perhaps you already enjoy creating with yarn? Join the Knitwits for a special Come and Try session and discover what this welcoming group is all about.

You’ll enjoy a relaxed morning filled with conversation, creativity and plenty of laughter. Bring along your own project if you have one, or simply come to watch, chat and see what others are working on. No experience is necessary—all skill levels are welcome, from complete beginners to experienced knitters and crocheters.

The Knitwits meet every week at the centre, making it a wonderful ongoing opportunity to build friendships, share ideas and enjoy the satisfaction of creating something handmade. Whether you’re learning your first stitches or working on a long-term project, you’ll be supported and inspired by others who love to create and connect.

Come along, meet like-minded people, and see why this group is such a favourite each week. You might just discover a new hobby—or rekindle an old one!
