It is time for the Meadow Springs Residents Group Inc. to hold their Annual General Meeting. Arrive anytime 5:30pm for a 6pm start. Please ensure you reverse park into the car parking spaces!
All positions at the meeting will be declared vacant and nominations will be received and voted on for the incoming committee.
THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW:
The committee meets three times a year plus the annual general meeting. Timing and location of meetings are coordinated in agreeance with committee members schedules and may be held by teleconference if necessary.
The object of the group is to "Promote a sense of community in the local area."
We became an official group in February 2023 and incorporated in April of the same year. We are a subbranch of Lions Club Mandurah.
We run mainly free events in Meadow Springs, with the Easter Treasure Hunt, Halloween Quest, Music in the Burbs, Movie Nights, Christmas party and tree planting days to name a few.
We raise funds through sponsorship, grant applications and fundraising.
Committee members will pay a $5 annual fee (to ensure we meet minimum record keeping requirements). This fee can be wavered if member is experiencing financial hardship.

Chairperson (nomination received)- duty is to consult with secretary regarding the business of the group and committee meetings.
Vice Chairperson (nomination received) - fill in for chairperson as and when needed.
Secretary (nomination received) - duties include all administration duties with regards to the groups activities.
Treasurer (nomination received) - duties include overseeing all financial records and providing an annual financial report for the AGM.
Committee Members (all nominations welcomed) - duties include supporting the official roles of the committee outlined above. Ensuring information received from secretary and treasury is true and correct.
