ANY REGULAR CUSTOMER KNOWS KAREN AND CONNIE AT SHOEZAM SHOES HAVE GREETED YOU FOREVER AS YOU WALKED INTO SHOEZAM SHOES.
We have worked as a Team for 10 years at SHOEZAM SHOES. Many great fun moments as well as Karen had to take over these last four years while I have be at MD ANDERSON CANCER RESEARCH HOUSTON TEXAS alot fighting bone cancer. I feel me and Karen have fought hard together and presently won.
Anyone that knows us knows were not a boss and employee. Never really have been.
Connie even built the current location saying one thing. This is for Karen and my retirement. That's correct. We are both from Minnesota.
Many of you have asked me if were related! Well we are, in support of each other through good times and tough times.
Karen will fulfill her dream she is heading back to her beloved state of Minnesota by June 22nd or so. She and Dave have found a home in Owatonna. Karen has two children, Karla and David. Sadly for the time being she leaves Dave behind in Bismarck and he has two children in north Dakota to think about before he may move to Minnesota also. Karla and family have three children in Minnesota so Karla family Wins big in the deal!
Did you also know Karen has a twin brother? Well that will be great to be closer as he lives in the cities there. She also has other brothers sisters there. Many many longtime friends and family.
Everyone keeps asking CONNIE SHOEZAM SHOES I bet you will really miss Karen.
As a daily employee of course but many dont realize the largest amount of my own family and friends live in Minnesota too.
Karen's retirement simply means she's going home.
